No-Bake Peanut Butter Nutella Cookies

My Mom always made peanut butter no-bake cookies when I was a kid.  I loved them.  I took her recipe and updated it with a secret ingredient-- Nutella.  I love this stuff--chocolate and hazelnuts, YUM!!!  The Nutella took the place of the cocoa powder and some of the peanut butter.  Truly delicious.  I wasn't sure when I started if I could top the original, but I think that these are just as delicious.

No-Bake Peanut Butter Nutella Cookies

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup Nutella
3/4 cup crunchy peanut butter
3 cups old-fashioned oats

In a medium saucepan combine butter, milk, and sugar over medium heat.  Once butter is melted, increase heat and bring mixture to a boil.  Let mixture boil for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.  Remove from heat and add vanilla, Nutella, and peanut butter.  Mix well and add oats.  Drop mixture onto wax paper and allow cookies to harden for at least 30 minutes.
