March Friendly Feature--Carolyn's Nursery

So I promised two friendly features for this month and am really happy to bring you this one
--Carolyn's Nursery.

We have been working on her nursery basically since the day she announced that she was expecting.

Caroyln and her husband, Lee, decided not to find out the sex of the baby,
so we decided on a gender-neutral nursery
-- full of light and soothing colors.

Carolyn and Lee (and I) absolutely love how the nursery came together.

She said "I love that it's refreshing and calming for me.
It's the perfect baby room for a boy or girl".

The overall theme for the room centered around a precious bunny toile pattern on the bedding.
The walls are painted Benjamin Moore's Bright Laughter and white furniture and bedding (from Lee's sister and brother-in-law) were added to enhance the overall color scheme for the room.

We used lots of different fabrics and textures like this tone-on-tone animal print on the glider and a green damask pillow.
All of the fabrics are plush and baby friendly.

Everything was kept simple and sweet.
We added a few gender neutral accessories and paintings made by a couple of talented friends.

We are all very excited to welcome the soon-to-be little boy or girl.
Hopefully he or she will like their room.
