2012 Wrap-Up

What a great year 2012 has been.

I am exhausted, but I am so happy with everything that has happened this past year.
I can't believe that I have been blogging for 2 years.
Time sure does fly!!

I thought I would share a few of the highlights and a few things that I am going to try to accomplish for the next year.

In January I shared my love of indoor house plants by making a few terrariums--

I also shared a few recipes and started a nursery project.
It was a busy month.

The month of February had me doing a lot of diy projects such as the reveal of a guest bedroom (I still have a few things left to do in that room--CURTAINS!!)

The hubs and I also co-hosted a Valentine's Dinner and I shared my recipe for Chocolate Souffle.

In March, I finished my friend Carolyn's nursery

started my sister's home office project and did lots of cooking.
This month I also had my blog re-designed.

April was a very busy month, not only did I take two different vacations and celebrate my 40th birthday,

but I launched my labor of love--

This month, I also shared my most viewed (420,199 pageviews) and most pinned (74,600 pins) recipe of all time on my blog..
Who would have thought that everyone would go so crazy for peanut butter, brownies, and pudding!!

By May, every year, I'm dreaming of summer.
So in May I started sharing some of my favorite cocktail recipes

and some of the fun times and visitors to my garden.

This month was so much fun---

we added a new rock boarder to the garden

shared a few pictures of some of the fabulous flowers that the husband grows
(and I kill if left to care for)

a few more more cocktails
(my absolute favorite).

In July, a few of my closest friends and I hosted a baby shower and we made a few of these..

It was a fun month, and we celebrated the husband's birthday, too.

August was all about cooking on our new Big Green Egg.

I made lots of delicious recipes, including this one--

Whenever September rolls around I start dreaming of fall.
I've usually had enough of summer and am ready of some cooler weather.

I did lots and lots of cooking in September and I learned how to knit!!!

This October found me not in best of health.
I suffered with pneumonia, bronchitis, sinus infections, and double ear infections.

I was home a lot, so I cooked a lot.
This was one of my favorite recipes from the month.

In November, we invested in a much-anticipated, much loved home project.

This month I also shared a tutorial and my new recipe index.

and finally in

What a Crazy month!!

I did a quick Holiday Open House

 and planned a wedding

(photo by DeAnn Arnold Photography--this is a sneak peek!!)

This has been an absolutely wonderful year and I am so looking forward to 2013!!

I really hope to take my blog to the next level as well as my shop.
It is going great and am so excited to add more great gift, jewelry, and accessories to my shop;
and new recipes, ideas, and inspirations to my blog.
I could not have accomplished all that I had in 2012 without each and every one of you and for that I am so grateful!!
