April Beauty Favorites- All About Eyes

It's easy to guess that I love makeup. There's just something about all of the colors and textures.  I love knowing that I can totally change up my look just by adding a certain color to face.  It's just wonderful.  Here are some of the products for the eyes that I'm loving right now--all about eyes.

 Brows

Dip Brow Pomade --This product is so fabulous.  I really have no brow color at all.  I'm so fair and my hair is like, translucent.  I use the color blonde and it add just the right amount of color to make me look like I have some brows. I put a little of this on the Anastasia Brush #12 and dab in on the back of my hand to control the amount I use.  I promise a little goes a long way.  Literally, a jar of this lasts me about a year- and I use it every single day.

Brow Wiz--The brow wiz in blonde is the perfect little brow pencil.  The tip is small enough to allow you to make individual little strokes and it's great for lining along the bottom of your brows to clean them up.  Love it.

Shadows

This was so hard to narrow down.  I'm an eyeshadow junkie.  I am constantly buying palettes, primers, and singles all of the time. Even when my husband is with me in Ulta or Sephora he points them out to me--a good man! These are my absolute favorites that I wear almost every single day.

I always start with a good primer to set my shadow.  Being so fair, I have little blue veins on my eyelids that I always want to cover.  A few of my favorite primers are Tarte Shape Tape Double Duty Concealer in Fair or MAC Longer Paint Pot in Soft Ochre.  I use this MAC brush for application.

MAC eye shadows--As you can see these are well worn.  I wear one of these colors almost every single day.  The colors are Malt (discontinued, but Vanilla is similar), Brule', and Omega.  All are great neutrals and matte.

Anastasia Soft Glam Palette --This palette just came out and WOW!  All of the colors are beautiful and highly pigmented. I am really loving Glistening, Fairy, Dusty Rose, and Rose Pink.  The Noir is a really dark black, perfect for applying as a liner.

Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette--So you can see I use the heck out of this palette.  I'm absolutely in love with Buon Fresco, which is a light purple, and Love Letter, which is pinky-red.  I use Vermeer as a highlight color on my brow bone and in the inner corner of my eyes.  Love this palette.

Urban Decay Naked Petite Sweet Heat Palette--I got this petite palette specifically when I have a faux tan (--again with the fair skin!).  All are matte and the lightest color works great as a highlight.

Urban Decay Naked Smokey Eyeshadow Palette-- I've had this palette a while and love, love, love Smolder, Password, Combust, and Thirteen.  They make the most perfect gray-black smokey eye.

Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics--This palette is great for everyday.  The colors are all matte, subtle, and blend perfectly.

Dior Fusion Mono-Long-Wear Mirror Shine Eyeshadow--This product is also one of those WOW products.  The color here is Meteore and it is beautiful (I know the pic doesn't do it justice).  I've also had this forever and I wear it almost every single day.  It looks fabulous under your eye and along your lash line for a subtle pop of shimmer.

Liners

Kat Von D Tatoo Liner--My most favorite liner ever!!  This product is amazing.  The brush tip is very fine which produces a super fine line.  This liner stays on until you take it off-no smudges, no mess.  It's great!

I also really like Tarte's Sex Kitten Liner and Clay Paint Liner, and  MAC Longwear Fluid Line.

Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner--This product is super fun.  This color is Urban Cowboy which is a beige glitter.  It is so fun to wear over your black liner for a pop of glitter.  I also have the color Spandex, which is blue-black.

Lashes

Benefit Bad Gal Bang--I just started using this mascara and I really like it.  The color is really dark black and makes my lashes really look lifted and really long.

Benefit Roller Lash--I use this mascara for a more natural look.  The applicator is great for catching and curling every single lash.

Dior Blackout Mascara--My all-time favorite mascara ever.  This mascara is jet-black and makes your lashes look fantastic.  No smudges, no flaking. It's a little pricey, but overall is a great mascara!

I love, love, love faux lashes.  I don't wear them everyday, but I love to wear them when I go out or when I want to add a little glam to my look.  Here are a few of my favorites--

Lilly Lashes Doha- These are some gorgeous lashes.  Long and makes your eyes look so wide.  Very glam. They are faux-mink and can be worn 20-25 times.

Lilly Lashes Hollywood--Gorgeous also.  I love these when I really want to make a statement. They are faux-mink, so they last a little longer, 20-25 wears.

Tarte Center of Attention-These are great lashes.  A little bit longer than I would wear for day, but great for date night or getting dressed up. Great for up to about 10 wears.

Icona Lashes Head Over Heels--My favorite lashes for everyday.  Usually when I wear these, most people think that I just really have naturally long lashes. They are subtle, but look fabulous.  You can wear these about 10-15 times.

Lilly Lashes Sephora Havana --These are my favorite glamorous lashes.  They are super dramatic and  inspired by Doha (one of my other favorites).  These are good for 10-15 wears.

Tarteist Pro Eye Lash Glue--I've tried a ton of eyelash glues, but this one is fantastic.  I have pretty sensitive eyes and this glue doesn't bother me at all. I usually use the clear glue, but I will use the black when I'm using blackout mascara.

What are your favorite eye products??  I would love to hear what you think.

Sabrina
