Out and About-Provenance Art Bazaar

I love to attend any type of art show and I especially love to support local artists.  Last weekend, my Mom and I attended the Provenance Art Bazaar in a local neighborhood park.  It was a beautiful Louisiana day with lots of fun southern art.

This artist was Allison Rhymes .  Her pieces were beautiful.  I snatched up two of the beautiful oyster spoon rests with pearls.  She also had gorgeous paintings, painted wine glasses, and crosses.  All very original with beautiful metallic accents.  The pelican wine glasses would make the perfect Mother's Day gift (hint, hint!!).

The next artist that I was completely smitten with was Brittani Phillips. She had trays, cheese boards, coasters, and small acrylic paintings.  All of the colors were my absolute favorite-turquoise, greens, blues.  I also purchased one of her beautiful trays.  The colors are absolutely perfect for my patio.

Anna Robinson was another artist that featured beautiful Louisiana themed art.  She had the cutest oyster place card holders and custom made oyster jewelry.  She told me that she gets most of the oysters from a local favorite restaurant-upcycling at its best!  I purchased one of her oyster necklaces strung on rose quartz and can't wait to show it off.

There were lots of other talented artists there showcasing some beautiful southern art.

Emily from Magnolia Creative is one of my favorite local artists.  She has the cutest tea towels, ceramics, art prints, and paper products.  You can also find her all across Louisiana.

Getting out and about on the weekend is definitely one of my favorite things to do.  I love discovering new restaurants, artists, and fun places.  How about you?
