Happy Hour-The Casablanca Martini

Saying that I love a good cocktail is definitely an understatement.  And this one, my friends, is an excellent cocktail.  Gin, strawberries, lemon, and black pepper.  So, so good.

When we were in Oregon for Memorial Day we celebrated my sister and brother-in-law's anniversary (Happy Anniversary Charity and Chris!!) at one of their favorite local restaurants, Industry.  I had a cocktail very similar to this one and decided to put my spin on it.

Funny story... this cocktail calls for a peppercorn tincture.  So, I did not know what that was, right.  Be honest, do you??  So I asked at the restaurant, "What is a peppercorn "tink--tuure"??   Well, anyone who knows me, north of the Mason-Dixon line knows that I kind of have a strong Southern accent ( I think it might be them though).  I got a few laughs.  HAHA!! (I'm not really laughing.)
So, the jokes on them.  I made one and now I'm going to make a ton of cocktails with it!!
